We will share the RTI Application ID via E-mail/SMS. Our RTI experts will have a look at your application and if they need any information they will contact you via email or call you. Once the experts have drafted your application we send a copy to you for your approval. At this stage, you can review your application to approve by signing your application via electronic signature. At any stage, you can then track by logging into your File Online RTI Account or giving RTI Application Id and E-mail.

RTI response is by the concerned govt authority/Institution. As per the RTI act, they are entitled to respond within 30 days but actual date varies. In our experience, we have seen that Central Govt. departments respond within 10-20 days. Offices in Karnataka, Tamil Nadu and Maharashtra also respond within 15 days. Overall it takes 1 week to 45 days to get your response.

For a smooth delivery of your application, we will deliver via Govt postal department or private courier, you will be informed about the tracking details via E-mail/SMS using which you can track each stage of transportation.

If your RTI application can't be filed we will offer a full refund. Payment gateway charges ( INR 5-10 ) will be deducted.

File Online RTI will not refund the amount once we review/draft your application(Stage 3 of application filing is completed ) and then send the application for your signing and approval. At this stage, if it is requested by you, we will use our descretion whether to refund the amount or not. If for some reason, if File Online RTI feels its a fit case for refund, we will refund your money back to you.

If you have filed RTI application as Guest, you need to select 'My RTI' Menu option from the website navigation bar. Then enter the Application Id and E-mail. In the first panel, you have to click "Request Refund" button to raise refund request.

If you have filed RTI application by logging in to our website, you need exercise 'My RTI' option on left side of the website. Go to the Panel where your application number is displayed and then click "Request Refund" button to submit refund request.

Note that "Refund Request" button will only displayed for initial 4 hours from the timestamp you paid the payment. After 4 hours, we issue partial refund after you send an e-mail to us at refunds@file online rti

In General, it is immediate if the order is cancelled by you. If you E-mail us after the time lapses, we take anywhere between 5-7 days to complete your refund request. The refund amount will be credited to the same account from where payment was made.

No, you are not required to register at File Online RTI. You can apply RTI without registration using "Continue as Guest" option on the website navigation menu. However we suggest you to create an account with us. It easier to track RTI if you create an account.
